Why buyers look for Gausium and Pudu alternatives
Gausium and Pudu are established, well-reviewed cleaning robot brands. Buyers usually look elsewhere for one of five reasons: price in their region, a floor or debris type the mainstream models do not target, outdoor or facade work, private-label and distributor terms, or a second source to avoid single-vendor dependence.
This is not a takedown article. Gausium and Pudu build capable robots that are widely deployed. If one of their models fits your floor and a local reseller can service it, that may well be your best choice. This guide is for the buyer who wants to compare like for like before deciding, and it uses only figures the brands and their resellers publish.
→Regional price and availability. List prices vary widely by country and channel. The Pudu CC1 Pro, for example, is listed at CA$35,000 in Canada and above NZ$40,000 in New Zealand.
→Specialist floors and debris. Textile plants, very large halls and outdoor plazas need machines the mainstream 4-in-1 robots are not built for.
→Wider product scope. Some projects need floor robots, outdoor sweepers, facade robots and AMRs from one supplier.
→Distribution and OEM. Distributors building their own brand need private-label model codes, neutral datasheets and MOQ terms.
→Second source. Multi-site operators often qualify two suppliers so a single brand's stock or service gap does not stop a rollout.
What Gausium and Pudu offer, in published figures
The core indoor models from both brands are 4-in-1 compact robots, a mid-size scrubber, a commercial vacuum robot and, for Pudu, a large-area sweeper. Published list prices for these sit between about $19,000 and $43,000 in the US.

One detail in that table matters more than any other: Gausium publishes both a theoretical and a practical efficiency for the Phantas, and the practical figure is roughly half the theoretical one. That is normal and honest. When you compare any two robots, compare practical figures to practical figures, or at least the same kind of figure on both sides.
Class-by-class alternatives
Match by job, not by brand: compact 4-in-1, mid-size scrubber, high-suction vacuum and large-area machines each have a PanPanTech counterpart with published specifications you can compare directly.

The match is never exact, and that is the point of doing it class by class. A 4-in-1 robot from any brand is a compromise between scrubbing, vacuuming and mopping; a dedicated scrubber or vacuum robot beats it at its one job. Decide which job dominates your floor first.
How to compare robots fairly
Compare practical cleaning rate, tank and battery per run, edge distance, station automation, and service terms. Headline m²/h figures and feature counts are the least reliable basis for a decision.
→Practical, not theoretical, m²/h. Ask each supplier for the figure measured on a real route with turns and obstacles.
→Area per tank and per charge. A fast robot that stops every hour to refill cleans less per night than a slower one that runs four hours.
→Edge and corner cleaning. Edge distance in centimetres decides how much manual touch-up remains.
→What the station automates. Charge only, or also refill, drain, detergent and self-cleaning? Each step left to staff is daily labour.
→Noise. Under 60 dB matters for daytime or night cleaning near occupied rooms.
→Service. Response time, parts stock in your country, remote diagnostics and who does the first-line repair.
→Software. Is the fleet platform included, and can you export reports?
Then run a pilot. Two to four weeks on your own floor will tell you more than any spec sheet, including ours. Our cleaning robot price guide covers how to compare total cost once the shortlist is down to two.
When to stay with an established brand
If a local reseller already stocks parts and has engineers in your city, and one of their models fits your floor, the service advantage can outweigh a lower price elsewhere.
A robot that waits two weeks for a part costs more than its price difference. Before switching to any alternative, including PanPanTech, ask who will repair the robot in your country, how many spare parts are held locally, and what the guaranteed response time is. A manufacturer-direct supplier should be able to name the partner who will do this work.
→Stay if your floors match a mainstream model well and local service is strong.
→Look at alternatives if you need a specialist machine, outdoor or facade robots, a second source, better regional pricing, or your own brand on the robot.

FAQ
What is a good alternative to the Gausium Phantas?
Look for a compact 4-in-1 robot with a self-service dock. PanPanTech's ACR-0440P scrubs at 500 m²/h and sweep-vacuums at 650 m²/h with a dock for waste discharge, refill and charging; the ACR-0520 adds sanitising and self-cleaning in a 6-in-1 machine.
What is a good alternative to the Pudu CC1?
Compare 4-in-1 robots with similar width and a docking station, such as PanPanTech's ACR-0440P. For small shops and restaurants, the compact ACR-0290 with a self-washing station is another option.
Is there an alternative to the Gausium Vacuum 40 for textile factories?
PanPanTech's ACR-0670 is a high-suction sweeping and vacuum robot built for fabric strips, thread, fibre and fluff, with a 670 mm width and a 16 L dust box covering about 4,000 m² per fill.
Are Gausium and Pudu good robots?
Yes. Both are established, widely deployed brands. Alternatives make sense when you need a specialist machine, outdoor or facade robots, a second source, different regional pricing or a private-label programme.
How should I compare cleaning robots from different brands?
Compare practical cleaning rates, area per tank and per charge, edge distance, what the station automates, noise and service terms. Then run a two-to-four-week pilot on your own floor.
Can I sell PanPanTech robots under my own brand?
Yes. PanPanTech supports OEM and ODM programmes with private-label model codes, neutral datasheets and packaging support. See the partner and manufacturing pages for terms.
